Who we are
[LEGAL NAME] is a [ENTITY TYPE] registered in [JURISDICTION OF INCORPORATION], with its address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For any privacy question, write to [PRIVACY EMAIL].
Two different roles
When you visit our website, request a demo or create an account, we decide how your information is used.
When a customer uses Vortel to find, research and contact prospects, the customer decides who is contacted and why, and we process that information on the customer's behalf. [CONFIRM ROLES AND DPA]
Information we collect
- Website and demo requests. The name, work email, company and role you submit, and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited. [CONFIRM ANALYTICS]
- Account and workspace. Your name, email, workspace membership, role and settings. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider.
- Company Brain. The cases, tone, offer and documents your team adds so Vortel can write in your voice.
- Connected accounts. When you connect an email, calendar or LinkedIn account, access is authorized through that provider's own flow. Vortel does not store the passwords for those accounts.
- Prospect data. For customers, Vortel finds and enriches professional information about prospects, such as name, title, company, work and personal email, phone number, location, professional history and public social profiles. Vortel keeps birth year rather than full date of birth.
- Activity. Messages drafted and sent, replies, meetings booked, call recordings and their transcripts, agent session transcripts and a log of every action the system takes.
- Billing. Plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the platform.
- To research prospects and to draft, schedule and send outreach within the limits and approvals each customer sets.
- To record and transcribe calls when a customer uses calling.
- To keep an audit trail of what the system did and why.
- To protect the service and prevent abuse.
- To answer demo requests and support questions, and to bill for the service.
- To improve the service. [CONFIRM MODEL TRAINING]
AI processing
Vortel uses a third-party AI model provider to reason over tasks and generate text. The information a task needs, such as Company Brain content and prospect details, is sent to that provider to produce the result. [CONFIRM MODEL TRAINING]
